burnt my clutch out today, had to get towed to clutch place, reading the previous posts seems everything is recommending the deakin clutch, what prices have u guys been quoted, wanna make sure I'm not getting ripped

if you getting the dakin and are getting mods down the line get the heavy duty organic around the 500 mark plus a couple of hundred to fit

thanks meggala, cos the guy was quoting me 2 grand for heavy duty sports clutch, I told him u guys had told about the dakin and he said he would get me a quote, jsut wanted something to confirm it with, I rang ice but they were closed

wishing I had jsut towed car and left it out the front of ice now

Yea I got the exedy daiken, all up it cost about $650-$700, drive in and drive away from ice.

if u guys are looking at the daiken heavy duty clutchs,they come in about 3 different ratings some even more on different cars, give this place a try, ATAP in footscray rd,accross the road from the BIG! fruit and veg market, there the ones that sell to the clutch and brake places soooo try there for a good price,oh and make up some story that u work for yourself as a mechanic or something so u get trade discount

thanks for the advise guys, I ended up getting quoted 1400 for a diaken organic clutch (excuse my spelling) from the ravc place that had my car.... got it towed to ICE today same clutch fitted tomorrow for $880 good old forums saved me 450 bucks after tow costs thanks guys
