Autoworx gets R34 approval

Hi to all

We have finally had our R34 inspection and all went well. In fact the

inspector said that it is the best inspection he had done (ie the

least problems with evidence & vehicle) in 2 years since the RAWS

system started and we should give ourselves a pat on the back. This

means that within 2 to 4 weeks we will be able to import and comply

R34 2 door & 4 door, turbo and non turbos and GT-R's. Please reply to

this email if you are interested in importing an R34 yourself and I

can send some coming up at auction or with our suppliers in Japan.

yeah, Paul was a big help when I was looking. I was after a 95 gts-t, and he had a nice stock black one there, and because it was a yard was asking 21k before 2005. When the year changed, he dropped the price by 1k but I had already offered what I felt was a fair price for it ($18k) & he couldn't sell it for that, but he had no problems with me having a test drive, was very helpful.

But now I am getting an even better one imported for just under 17k, and it looks awesome. That has an a/m exhaust, adj. suspension, kickass rims & a couple of other little mods that will save me $$$$ too. Seen it on Monday, and will have it within 2 weeks. :wassup: And I found out the a/m steering wheel is worth $400 too, insane.

Yeah, he was very helpful & if anyone is thinking of going through him it is recommended!!!!! If I am not mistaken the exhaust was cat-back & the rims 17"?????? I think it was both for 2k extra (should less if you haggle with him).

i was negotiating with paul for catback and rims for an extra $800 but obviously type is a big factor .

autoworx are tops , this is my second skyline and ill go there again if I upgrade to a 34 4 door , just have to wait till they get a 5 speed

Yeah is a pretty good exhaust and awesome looking rims (I think anyway), Nah I got it for half that price! Howd did you know what I got? BTW what's with the Everton shield?? Just jokes

I was interested in buying from there a while ago, and he said that if I wanted an exhaust & rims then we could sort out a deal. I think they would take the standard ones back to drop the price too. Didn't know what price though, just guessed but if it's around a grand then it sounds good to me.

Don't knock The Everton, we have Timmy the Blue Kangaroo. :wassup:

yea he takes the stock ones back as he has to have them for raws procedure . still a good deal , i mean stock rims are handy to have around but who wants a stock exhaust ? and you could get one for $50 if you needed one for a yellow or something .

Yeah, I took the black 33 for a spin. Earlier I had driven the white one he was selling at the same time, but it wasn't as responsive as the black one, which I was interested in. The car that I will have in a couple of weeks (burgundy 33) is even better with that, I don't think it understands that turbo's have lag. :headbang:

And it wasn't me with the Prelude though.

Got my R33 from Paul in Sept last year and he is a top bloke to deal with. Very honest and straigh-forward. Also did a deal for cat-back exhaust and rims. If i could afford and R34, i would get it from Paul
