sorry, don't mean to contradict you in your own thread, but it is exactly the opposite.

They are designed to stop oil collecting in the head which can happen at high revs. The baffles reduce the volume where oil can collect.

We have just put a similar mod into our race car as part of the build, our other car has been running them for 2 years of targa and circuit, and together with a sump extension, has not yet had oil problems (fingers crossed)
