SOLD!!!

As per title, the following items are for sale off my car.

AVS Model 6 Wheels - 17"

Front Rims - 17" x 7", +30 offset

Front Tyres - 215/45/17s Bridgestone RE540 semi slicks

Rear Rims - 17" x 8", +30 offset

Rear Tyres - 225/40/17s Dunlop D01Js semi slicks

Off an R32 GTST, Rubber is still legal and above wear indicators but most likely only have about 2,000kms of road use left until on wear indicators. Still plenty of meat left for track use:)

Rims in very good condition with no buckles (balance up well) and only very minor little nics on one, maybe two of the rims.

Asking $1450 ono

But will seriously consider offers

To anyone interested the aim logger is great, gives you all the info you need on one visable dash, no need for mounting 4 guages to get defected for, and a 100% accurate speed reeding with shift lights.

Anyone doing track and even drag work they are worth every cent, Roy ive got the MXL dash interfaced with the M800 and its the best thing on the car :)

So no one wants some hollow alloy cast wheels (being hollow they are pretty light for a cast wheel) with some sticky rubber?

I want $1650 ..... lol, though i never get what i want:( But at least i dont get what i deserve :kick:

Bump...wheels were sold, so i went and bought new rims/tyres...lol guess what, person didnt want them anymore...so does any guy with only 1 car need 3 x sets of rims:(

Anyone else???...will consider selling my brand new 18" Lenso GT05s with rubber, as i dont need 3 sets of rims, and cant afford to have the money tied up in them laying around:(

So to repeat AVS Model 6 Wheels - 17"

Front Rims - 17" x 7", +30 offset

Front Tyres - 215/45/17s Bridgestone RE540 semi slicks

Rear Rims - 17" x 8", +30 offset

Rear Tyres - 225/40/17s Dunlop D01Js semi slicks

Semi slicks still have 3-4 track days in them and are still above wear indicators/legal.

Rims in very good condition with no buckles (balance up well) and only very minor little nics on one, maybe two of the rims. Will pass any inspection, 2x rims in Sydney in th eboot of my car for viewing, the other 2 are in Melb at the moment for viewing. If your in Sydney i will pay the post of the 2xmelb rims, all for rims will be in Melb from next week oneards.

Sorry about long winded dribble:)

hey roy

these are nice wheels they would probably look good on my black 32 but the funds dont allow splurging on rims at the moment (wheres pay via installments when you need it.... :D )

anyway i find it hard to believe these have not sold yet nice rims at a fair price, if i had the cash i would snap these up

good luck with the sale

If sold in the next 10 days they will be sold with a spare set og used DO1J semi slicks. Spare set of rubber still has legal fronts, but rears are no longer legal. Though they will still be good fot track/motorkhana work, im going to be using them at Deca if not sold with rims

    • I can get more photos of it here soon and I plan to make a thread detailing the process. I received the car this way and it sorely needs refinishing. That is probably the most appealing photo of it. Up close it is fading, cracked, and needs to be re-glued. Depending on their condition I'm on the fence between refinishing or making a new set.  Another angle hiding the pimples and razor pumps
    • According to this thread the RS4V with build plate RC40 comes with the R200 diff @ 4.083 ratio as well (mine has said RC40 denotation). We may need to check if the axle stubs are the same pattern as well. The auto subframes have longer axles. However I think yours being a later Series 2 as well, we should have the same bolt pattern for the diff stubs. Unless your upgraded rear also has upgraded axles. Either way, I would not be opposed to pulling the covers to check so I can inspect that  fancy rear core  Also I don't have HICAS. I don't believe that should change things but I hope the people here with heaps more experience than me can correct me if I'm wrong   Let me know if you want to attempt to make this work and I can get some pictures of mine from under the car.
    • It's not that straightforward. For example I have had this code because my ignitor/power transistor wires were unplugged. It knows something is wrong but has no idea what it means. If you want to actually diagnose this I recommend following the service manual flowchart for code 21. Ohm out the harness, coilpacks, inspect the ECU, etc. And again, it's entirely possible for there to be no problem at all but if you're running a different coilpack it'll trigger the code because it doesn't like what it sees.
    • If it (the code) wasn't still current, it should have gone away by itself by now. No, nothing it 10/10. But it is quite likely. Everything else to do with the ignition could still be responsible (which is wires and connectors). The car is an old piece of shit now, so all the wires and connectors are also old pieces of shit.
