which fuel pump do I need ?

Hi guys

After much debate....I decided to post this up.

Some of you may know from my previous thread that im looking at getting a HKS 2835 Pro S.

with this turbo I should be getting somewhere between 260-300rwkw but more than likely in the high 200 range.

At first I was planning on getting a Nismo fuel pump made for the ER34.

this flows 4.1L/min.

After talking to someone (bob!!! haha) its got me thinking...will this provide enough fuel for the turbo in question ?

would I need to go to a surge tank ?

and finally can someone tell me the flow rating of the GTR pumps ?

i reckon u need a bosch 044 external pump with a surge tank fed by the stock pump, can get these pumps for bout $335, supports up to 360rwkw 330l/hr, may be better value than the nismo

i suspect the nismo or GTR pump would be maxed with 260-300rwkw even with good voltage supply

i think thats withing the nismo range.

SK (i think) posted a comparison chart in a thread not long ago.

personally. id go the surgetank option thats what im doing myself.

with a walbro lifter, 044 for the surge

044 are $300 if you shop around long enough.
