What Is This? Under Lower Dash Cover

Hey...

I removed the lower dash cover to install a switch and found a little rectangular box screwed into the cover. It has PHP written on it and a circular hole on the other side.

It has 8 wires coming out leading to the heart of my R32 GTST.

Does anyone know what this is???

I do believe it's that helpful chime that says "hey dickhead you left your lights on!" when you open the door.

I ripped mine out thinking it was the in-cabin reversing beeper, but it's not, damn Nissan a R32 GTST is a sports car not a truck!

I think it might be a 4Dr thing, I can take you for a reverse in the truck on Sunday too

The reverse beeper is in my silvia too, love it, it helps, leave it in, now the annoying thing is the overspeed chime......
