Need Help! Having boost problems with R34 GTT

Hey Guys,

Im having trouble with my R34, ive done most of the basic mods, cat back exhaust, intercooler, air pod, boost controller, HKS spark plugs etc. The car runs beautifully when its running standard boost and up to around .65 bar. But when i increase the boost to .75 bar or any higher, i get an anoying flat spot from around 4500rpm to 6000rpm then it seems to clear and go hard again? Ive tried resetting the computer but the problem still happens. Just wondering if anyone can help me out with any suggestions, any help would be great. Cheers..........

Get rid of the stock ECU.

Common problem on a 34 with raised boost. Stock ECU will dump extra fuel because of the raised boost resulting in the flat spot.

PowerFC, daughterboard, wolf or unichip time.

Cheers for that, i had a feeling that the ECU could be the problem. Going to go with a Power FC, should cure all my worries.

Until you get a computer don't boost it .

What is happening is when you get the flat spot its dumping fuel in there then it will lean out at the top and you may blow a piston .

Get a power f/c and get it tuned , the other mad you need is a turbo .
