RB25 will be onto around 16psi approx 4200rpm for around 270rwkw for a stock headed RB25, you'll be pushing the upper limit of the turb for 310rwkw

is it a 6 blade or a 7 blade wheel?

Well in stock guise the 1JZ is the more powerful motor by a reasonable margin, but slap the same turbo setup on them and the RB25 might just pull away since it has the higher compression ratio, but how about your friends stop comparing penis sizes and get on and fit the turbos so we can all see the results!
