Where to get my rims powder coated

Hey, I bought some 16inch GTS1 rims for my wagon.

The factory powder coat has lost some of its appeal and i'm looking to have them recoated. Any idea where I should go and what it's likely to cost.

yea I spoke to Tenille today, damian is in excellent shape.

I"ll give the dudes at O'sullivans Beach a tingle, i have heard about them but wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations first.

Extensive Wheels and Tyres on South Road are good, and so are the place directly opposite them. But they're both f-ing expensive.

I was recommended to go to Action Crash on the corner of South Road and Daws Road. I went there for a quote and the price was good and they were nice, but I've been busy and haven't had a chance to follow up on it.

Let me know how you all go because I need to get all four of my rims re-done.

I rang extensive wheels n tyres today.

$55 a rim for re machining the lip and $85 each rim for powder coating.

well i can beat that by a mile, think i can get it done for less than half that!

Dunno if i can get the lip re-machined though!

Well My deal is i'm a boilermaker and the company i work for gets things powdercoated so i can get things done for how much they can!

I think the last time i checked the price was $20-$25 a rim to get powdercoated thats as long as you prep them yourself like getting the tyres off etc. I think that sandblasting (if needed) costs around $30-$35 a rim.

I was quoted ~$100.00 per rim to fix mine, or ~$300.00 per rim by Extensive Wheels.

They need a few curb marks taken out, then need to be re-coated. Preferably in the exact same colour. I don't know how hard it'll be to match.

did they have to build up the lip of the rim again or was it just mild gutter scratches?

I was quoted, not charged. Still haven't had my rims fixed.

The damage isn't too bad, it's just minor damage from scraping the gutter. All four wheels have some form of damage though, thanks to their previous owner.

How perfectly can colours be matched? My wheels are a matte silver colour and I love the colour exactly how it is...
