With the current weather in NSW, i thought it timely to see if anyone has some good tips for the above..

My only thoughts on this are..

1) warm air on the front windscreen - only good when its cold weather though !!

2) a/c on if the weather is too hot for the above

To stop fogging..

Is there any cleaning tips out there to prevent this (and the associated smudging ??)

Usually windscreens fog up because moisture has gotten in the car somehow, so you want to get rid of that - try one of those hippo things you buy fromt he supermarket that collects moisture out of your car. Sit it somewhere (stable) in your car for a week or so and see if its collecting moisture. see if that fixes it.. if it comes back then time to find out how/where the water is getting in.

i tried that rain x anti fog for the insides. wasnt too happy with it unless i didnt use it properly....its prtty simple though. i prefer to give it some good elbow grease and wipe it down properly and use the A/C wen i need it, cums up clear as glass!

also tried the rain x for the outside, this i was happy with. water does actually bead away.
