Cubes Posted April 6, 2005 Share Posted April 6, 2005 The dump was made badly. In front of the compressor wheel there is a 15mm rise where the pipe wasn't stretched properly. The pics don't really show how bad it looks when you pull it off and think WTF. Get the dump and front pipe done from a turbo exhaust specialist. They digrind all the slags and ensure its a nice easy flow in to the cat. That being said maybe the bloke working on the exhaust at the time simply couldn't give a terd. LOL Does anyone have dyno figures to show that their 'quiet exhaust' doesn't rob power or perhaps even results in an increase? That would seal the deal for me. I've got a Nismo cat back on a GTR and the final muffler looks awfully restrictive to me in terms of pipe diam.
