can anyone who own a skyline r34 tell me why the injector number 2 pulse is a common problem. on one of my friend's car the pulse was wide opened causing fuel to pour down the engine making the car run rich as. when we dumped the oil there was like 12 litres of oil and petrol mixed together. we try to trace the problem but replacing the computer, the fuel rail and check the wiring loom but nothing helped. then on my other friend's car there was no pulse in the injector number 2. both cars are now running on 5 cylinder. we are now at the point of gettin in an auto electrician to rectify the problem. is there anyone who has a similar problem can you let me know. we have spent weeks and hours trying to find this problem.

Not sure how related it may be but have you checked the spark plugs? Its just a thought.

I havent heard of Injector #2 being a common problem until you posted this.

I had some issues with fuel/funny idling and it turned out the plug was fouling and causing the mixture to run rich. Its fairly important to have the right GAP on the plugs!

They should also be Platinum plugs. Hope this helps.

do either or both of these cars [with the injector #2 problem] have aftermarket computers? Like PowerFC etc???

For the petrol to get mixed in with the oil sounds as though something is cracked internally, or you have so much overflow from the Crankcase Ventilation [top of engine] that too much oil is going back through the Intake Plenum - with the Air!

Does either or both cars have an Oil catch tank / separator / breather?

I'm not a mechanic, but have worked on cars for 15 years, so I am just speculating what the problem may be ~ logically

Cheers & hope you solve the problem.
