i was joking about the .5l......

Although it could have been usefull some some non car related activities

yeah, but not the kind you are thinking of romeo. the extra .5 litres is for lubing your ring in preperation for the bill/credit card statement...

:uh-huh:

also, I must say I had thought that the trust sumps only add 1 litre (.9litre) over stock (4.9litres including filter).

Andrew is right too, there is a world of difference between the level of our two cars. I will have to have a good look over your d1ldo kabab. you never know, I may learn something.

I always thought that it was a 7 litre sump extension, but it seemed to take about 7.5 litres each time when Jim did the two oil changes.

Yeah 8l fits in fine with the trust extension, did it on the weekend.

Kabab, Pete's kit is a good size and great price....but for a street driven car you should have a thermostat as well.

In 30 min on the track at Wakefield last weekend oil temp didnt even move the guage...under 80o

Yeah i really want one with a thermo!!

How much power is your car making??

hahah my car? nothing atm maybe a bit over 250 once its going properly.

Shonen....1.15, I've set a new slowest lap record for a GTR at wakefield.....in my defence I was pottering around running the engine in :)

But I guess my point is I think it would run too cold on the road with a big cooler and no thermo. Buy pete's kit and add a thermostat from Motorsport Connections or similar

    • Hi All, I'm based in Sydney and want to get hold of 4 stock R34 GTT wheel caps as pictured. Cheers
    • Haha im flattered! Although my poor boat is collecting dust in the garage, as it hasn’t been driven in like 6 months. I forgot the to put the trickle charger on too, so the battery is likely toast now.. I have the frenchys kit. It is fantastic. My only gripe was that the hard lines from the firewall needed some tweaking, however, this was mainly due to my specific turbo and dump combo. The weight and size packaging is much nicer too. I think I have some pics on my build thread somewhere.. my justification for the kit was more “why not” I had gone to the trouble to modernise just about every other part of the car..
    • Actually, ethanol has probably never been cheaper, on a tax free basis, than petrol. With fuel excise being what it is, and only being levied on the hydocarbon component, not the ethanol component, and ethanol for non-drinking purposes not being subject to liquor excise - E85 was cheaper, but not because the combustible liquid itself was particularly cheaper.
