I have just received my PFC + HC (from nengun) and need some pointers on installation. (doco is in Japanese – obviously !!)

Can I just plug in (swap over) and drive

I've herd there is some sort of run in procedure (learning mode?)

I have an R32 GTR with a freash full engine rebuild + R34 N1s and full exhaust (no other mods yet)

Is this safe to do – or should I wait until I can get the beast to a dyno

anyone have the PFC manual in English (PDF)

personally id leave u r existing ecu in, then drive to tune shop and just get them to put it in and tune it at the same time. Then again it depends on what you have done to your car, the base map runs very rich, and should be ok (if you stay off boost) and if the car is fairly standard! If u have aftermarket injectors etc...then it will probably be too rich to drive and you will need to bump fuel flow down! With your mods it should be ok to putt to the tune shop!!!

english manual is at

learning mode - The car must idle for 10mins etc (is expalined in manual)
