Question about Splitfires.

Finally got my Splitfires from Nengun but all the info on it seems to be saying that it is for the RB25DE, RB20DET and the RB26DETT not my R33 Gt25t Seies 1. (RB25DET)

Have I got the wrong ones or will they fit anyway?

Hey mate same thing happened to me. Check the number on the package if it says

SF-DIS 001 their for series 1 r33 skylines and earlier r32s etc. If it says SF- DIS 005 their for the series 2 r33s r43s etc. Or another way is to just try and fit one. If it fits easliy without forcing it they should work. You shouldnt have to modify in anyway to make it fit.

They will fit up perfectly and you wont have a problem. The rb20/25s1 coils are externally identical and rb20 coils can be run quite happily by an rb25 ecu.

I'm pretty certain all the rb's with stand alone ignitors use the same splitfire coils anyway.

Yeah,

The packaging does leave a lot to be desired. There is no mention of RB25DET but they are the ones.

The others mentioned have a month/year showing that they are for Series 2.

Figured as much.

I am getting them installed today. Hopefully (but I doubt it) it will fix my fuel consuption issue.

Either way, I will let you kids know how it turns out.
