Hi, I am still interested in a TSC, but with an analog Dial. Don't want another flashing LED near the Dash, I wouldn't plan to adjust it very often. and it would be easier to swap it to another car or sell later on.

Will it take long to make one up with a dial? thanks for the pictures, they look much smaller than the ones they were selling in the GTR.CO.UK ones.

Are these g-grid???

Hi mate, no these are not g-grid controllers, they are made locally, and are very effective :D

Hi l005e, please see my earlier post (#39). There are no visible parts to the controllers except a switch to adjust more or less torque, and an LED to indicate the level. The box hidden under the console - Mark posted a pic of the internals in post #34.

OK here is the long awaited external pic. The black box goes all the work and lives under your console.

The red, black, blue and green wires are connected to your g sensor, the led is mounted in the dash where you can see it, and the yellow, pink and blue wires in the black cover go to the switch (whether radio controls or regular switch).

The kit comes with full installation instructions including pics.

Hi Tony....nope we can't get 100% front torque.

What we can and do get is "maximum" front torque as shown on the torque split guage when used with a healthy transfer case. I don't know how much that is exactly but the 32 GTR system cannot provide 100% front torque (ie all FWD no RWD).

So basically, i would want this controller if i wanted to be able to switch from Full RWD to normal type attessa mode at an instant?

as you say 100% available front tourqe, so its not switching in a permanent 40-60 split or anything, its just letting atesssa do its job?

am i understanding correctly?

Basically the way the gtr splits its front wheel torque is the sharper the corner it goes around the less drive goes to the front wheels this is to make it fell like a rear wheel drive car around corners (so as to make it an oversteerer on powering out as opposed to a constant four wheel drive car which understeers on power out) The car knows how sharp a corner it is going around by feedback from the lateral g sensor (located under the console) if you degrade the signal coming out of the g sensor it will transfer more torque to the front wheels on corners and this is adjustable in 10 steps, but it wont give you a constant 50/50 split or any other degree of constant split, but it will give you a way of adjusting how much front split you have on corners which is where most people want it. So as to balance the car better on the exit of corners to suit your driving style or road conditions (wet/slippery). As Duncan has already said they are a very effective device

Also this device will switch the car into 2 wheel drive mode on r32 gtrs same as pulling the fuse on the attessa computer or there is another mode which allows the front split to come on very moderately which is good if you want the car to be taily like for drifting

I can vouch for these units - have had one installed in my R33 for about 6 months now, and it has been one of the best things I have done to the car. Left on "1" the car drives totally normally, with progressively more cornering grip until about "5" or "6" in the dry. In the wet, on "10" when the light is permanently green, I could not get the car to oversteer at all when I tramped it around a roundabout on hotmix asphalt in pouring rain, although my car is pretty mild (only 240awkw). As has been previously mentioned, it does not help with launching in a straight line, is only for those who want more grip around corners. You do get a bit more understeer in the higher modes in the dry, but easily dialed out with suspension adjustments/swaybars etc. Installation took 30mins, and is very unobtrusive - on my 33, I just have a switch mounted behind the gearleaver to change modes.

Definitely a quality gizmo.
