my pioneer 12" sub is free to air sub, now since i got no where to mount that ive been forced to use a box, is it because its in the box that it doesnt sound as powerful its supposedly rated at 400wrms :bs!: from my 4 channel amp ive used 2 channels, its not bridged because for some reason when i bridge it using the diagram no sound comes out... :headspin:

now being a crazy idea if i were to take the sub outa the box and mout it the other way around as in the magnetic area outside and the cone area screwed to box would i see any improvements, dammit y did i get a free to air sub :headspin:

using 2 channels of your 4 channel amp is bridged

and invert mounting the sub wont do much difference, ive experimented it with both my pioneer 305c, and jl 12w0, and they both sound pretty much the same.. coz you have an enclosed space on one side of the sub in both cases still.

12" subs dont pump!!!! go for 15" TRUST ME

Depends on what you are listening to. 15inch sub is TERRIBLE for Quick bass. Its only good for R&B becasue it drones on for too long. If you want the best of 2 worlds 2 12inches is the way to go.
