Cubes
I've put together a little Z32 AFM wiring guide with a couple of pics to raise your confidence upon the first start!!! You will need a minimum of Adobe Acrobat v5 to open the PDF and WinRAR to unarchive it. The RB25DET R33 Series 2 uses a 3 wire AFM. Grab a multimeter and check out which one is the signal, the other two are earths. As far as I'm aware you simply join the two earths together. Right click and save as... to your own computer. Cubes
There was one bloke I know of. He simply grabbed a multimeter and checked out what was what with the std item. Then wired it up to the Z32 using the pinouts I supplied. Its quite simple really. Cubes
You must be running a really old version of adobe acrobat reader or nothing at all. www.adobe.com Grab a multimeter for the rb26dett afm and find out what is what. Post back the results and I will include it in the pdf. A picture or two would also be awesome. mass_iv
so if i understand it correctly u are saying for a series 2 all we have to do is connect the 12v ground, and signal ground on the z32 afm together, and these go to the ground on the standard wiring in the series2? and the rest are the power and airflow? Cubes
I assume connect both grounds together. I don't know. What I am saying is to grab a multimeter to find out what is what. Give your tuner a buzz and pick his brains. Hopefully he isn't so hard up for cash that he will simply say.. "Yep she's cool to wire the two grounds together". Pulp
Apparently the plug from a VL or R31 are the same for a S2 R33, probably pick one up from a wrecker.
