Turbo transplant idea (possible or not?)

My mate just bought a re-built ca18det engine complete with re-built turbo. Now, I still have the standard R33 turb in my r33 gts-t, I was thinking that if this turbo has been re-built with a steal zaust wheel and is the same size then I will buy it off him and put it in my car so I can run more boost

I am guessing that the ca18det turbo is going to be too small but I though I would ask anyway...
