My standard pump wasnt happy above ~210kw at all 4 wheels. Most people say you can get close too 300kw at the wheels before needing to replace it.

My new fuel system comprises of factory pump in tank, 2L surge tank and Bosch 044 pump. Works a treat.

The 044 isnt that noisy... it makes a small audible buzzing noise at idle, cant hear it any other times.

And the surge tank is to prevent fuel surges going around a track etc :)

Also raises my bling bling wank factor when I pop the boot with all the pretty braided hoses and earls/speedflow fittings

ahaha ok ok cool cool

so 044 pump will do just fine

I've just had to replace my stocker pump. Managed to make 410hp at all four which I thought was awesome for a stocker. I thought it was actually aftermarket until I pulled the bastard out. :)

I've now got a drop in SARD pump. Not noisy enough for me to complain put it that way.

Hey, ive gotta upgrade my pump and i was hoping to keep an in tank set up. Anyone know of an in tank pump that will support 350rwkw, or will i have to go the 044 with a surge tank. If ive gotta go the external 044, will a Walbro 500hp pump be ok for a lift pump? Ive also got the standard r32 gtst pump that i could as the lift pump use too.

This is what i run, walbro in the fuel tank to prime serge tank and the 044 to pump upto the injector's, Works fine.

Serge tank is to also stop the 044 from running dry :)
