what does my Engine bay need?

hey guys

just wondering if you guys can recommend me to some good things to pretty up my engine bay?

a clean, polish what ever... just note the BOV and the Oil Catch Can Are no longer there, the bov pipe has been replaced with the Factory Black Piping... and the Valley cover is missing, the top pic is the most recent ...

any Ideas would be great

Give it a degrease. Polish the rocker covers, plenum and alloy pipework. Paint the coil pack cover. Run coloured silicon hose for all the vacuum lines. Nismo/HKS/Trust Oil and Radiator cap.

get rid of the cam gear cover and chuck some hks adj cam gears.. all nuts n bolts chrome or gold..and maybe some braided lines..

Polish it. Remove as much as you can, what you cant remove hide it if you can, if you cant hide it make it look prettier.

HKS t51r, 3" titanium piping, metal flow air filter, anodoised blue cam covers, splitfire coilpacks, hks oil cap + radiator cap. 3" radiator with silicon hoses, blue vacuum lines, polished inlet plenum.... thats just for starters.

nah seriously, clean the engine bay first, and blow all the water away with compressed air if you can. clean everything, everything on the strut towers and firewall aswell. polish up your cam covers with some fine sand paper and metal polish... if your keen you can do the same with the plenum. all black hoses, wipe over with armour-all, ud be suprised how much difference this makes... do it to everything thats black.

and generally just tidy thing up, any hoses that can be run out of sight makes everything look neat. coloured vacuum lines do look good, but dont get cheap ones as they will suck in when they get hot. even though they are pretty, try and run them as out of sight has you can.

also, take the battery out and clean up under as there is some missing paint there, give that a bit of a touch up...clean the battery aswell.

if you have the time, start at 1 corner and work your way around...and if anyone tells you that its a dumb idea tell em to get stuffed...theres nothing wrong with wanting a clean and tidy engine bay...it doesnt mean your a ricer.
