On the subject of dicking around with connectors... what is peoples opinions of using second hand connectors from wreckers, but taking the contacts out, getting old wires out as best you can, soldering new wires to the wire crimp area, then re-crimping the insulation crimp on the new wire?Bit long winded in the end there. But you get the idea. Ive been doing this a bit cause I hate the look of joined wires. Seems the best is purely crimped on connectors, but a couple of oem yazaki connectors i have pulled apart lately have been crimped and soldered.Thoughts anyone?

Go buy some properly speced new electrical connectors otherwise you will end up with shitty brittle ones and sometimes they break when you repin them.
