When they cant get you for speeding. . .

So, driving home from work, 12:30ish, coincendently my place is through the main, so i do one. Saw some ricers, some Commonwhores, and a nice 4-dr r32. I gassed it a bit, nothing stupid (although all speeding is stupid, right?) probably got to 80 tops, in a 50 zone.

Then im at a round-a-bout, about to turn right, and 2 lights come screeming up behind me. Just regular head lights, nothing special. So, as you do when lights nearly hit your arse, you slow down. I turn right, exit the round-a-bout, continue on my way.

The car follows me about 100meters, then the little blue and red come on, from inside the dash. Unmarked cop. In a Magna. (ooooh how i wanted to punch it)

The dude gets out. asks me the speed limit. asks me why i was speeding. I give the usual "i have no excuse, officer". Then he asks, "is there a number 50 between 40 and 60 on your speedo?" Anyone who has a 320 Nismo dash would know there is no 50. but i let that one go. not worth it.

He takes my license, comes back 10 mins later after sitting in his car, come back and says theres no p plate on the back. i didnt know that. then he says theres a infringement being sent to my place for, get this, "EXITING A ROUND-A-BOUT WITHOUT PRECAUTION". He says a couple hundred, maybe 2 points.

I accept this, figure its his word against mine. But its his job, so he know whats what. no point arguing. The bit that pissed me off is that just before he let me go, he says

"You should be careful. A car like this, you on your p-plates, your bound to get targeted."

WTF is that? Fair enough what i was doing was illegal and wrong, and i deserved to get pulled up, but saying im getting targeted anyway?!? I thought that was crap? no discrimination my arse.

Anyway, thats my story. wanted to vent it somewhere. and for anyone who wants to post and be my dad, dont. I know the law, i know when i broke it, and i know when i put people in danger. and it serves me right for showing off.

he wont send you a fine, they just say that t get you scared so you dont do it again, undercover cops cant really do anything but pull you up for rbt, or pull you over to check out your car. I get harrased every day i go out, but a few nice words, a few "YES SIR's" never goes astray. remember that for nevet time, and next time he asks you why you were speeding always make sure you say," im sorry officer my eyes were on the speedo and i never went over 50" that way if he recording your conversation he cant fark you later on.

I discovered 1 today on the way home from a Drag Meeting. I got pulled over at a RBT station (in my hiace work van of all things haha).

The officer gave me a death stare and asked how I was to which I replied good thanks. He asked me to remove the plastic and blow into the gadget which I did. Said I was fine and to take the plastic tube, but I refused (it is the cops responsibility to dispose of the plastic tubes). So I started to drive off and he reached in my window and grabbed me so I stopped. Then he yelled at me again to take the tube and I told him it was his responsibility. So he grabbed it off himself and threw it at me (landing somewhere inside my van, still haven't found it). He got angry that I "tried to run him over" (I didn't ask him to reach in and grab my shirt as I was driving off). Then another cop came over to see what was going so I told them both to F-off and drove off flattening their witches hats all over the road

mate you cant win haha.. i was on the pacific highway doing around 95kmp/h (speed limit being 110 but im a green p plater).. then this cop pulls me over and tells me im driving to slow and after he was finished saying how i could cause a accident (this was liek 3am btw) he finishes by saying "soo... hav you got any illegal modifications" cops use anything to pull u over mate..

i drove passed a 4WD cop with someone pulled up for an RBT, i wasnt speeding, hadn't been lapping, and never had a problem with cops in the 4 mnths/3000kms id owned the car.

i knew the cop was gonna chase after me so i pulled over up the road a bit at my atm, got out and checked the hole in the wall, next thing, i hear the cop car screaming down the st, lights and siren goin crazy. he pulls up behind my car, which im now walking back to.

tells me i draw too much attention to myself in the car. i asked him how, and he said its just the car...this went on for a few minutes, i kept saying it was just like other cars, it just had rims and a kit and if i wasnt do anything wrong, i shouldnt attract attention, not from them anyway.

he then went on to tell me how my exhaust is a defect and needs an engineers cert. because its not standard... i told him it complies with noise and emissions, he didnt care about that, the exhaust wasnt standard and therefore he thought it required an certificate. i told him what the rta documents at work say about engineers certificates.

he didnt have anything to say, performed his rbt and off i went.

i hate cops.

Did you buy your car not thinking it would be a cop target? Did you not think that speeding in front of a copper (marked or unmarked) would get you pulled over? It is discrimination, but thats life. If you can't deal with it buy an excel(with out the sik gt wings bruz), cops love us easy targets:)

I dont have anything against cops, There jus doing there job it's gotto be done i guess it's cause of them we can go st sleep at night and not be too worried about something terrible happening cause lets face it there are bad one's amongst them but it's cause of the majority of them that law's are adhered to. i guess im jus saying this cause i feel that the whole attitude of " i hate cops" is jus as bad as the dodgey cop out there that feels that he "hates skylines"
