Help With Boost

hey guys, ok the problem i'm having is when i hit my dual stage boost controller to the higher boost (12psi) and i give it hard, it makes rapid back fire sound WOOAARR PAH PAH PAH PAH) till i change to next gear and then same thing again once the revs goes up again.. and boost doesnt seem to be all there..

i had a race wif one of the other SAU memeber just tonite and his running "stock" boost..

any idea?

fuel pump?

spark plugs?

or just turn the higher boost lower?

I had the same thing on mine, turned out to be the coils. They are prone to cracking which allows the spark to jump to the engine block instead of going through the spark plug.
