Do bleed valves need to be re adjusted?

Hi all,

My skyline was sitting in the garage for 4 months recently and now i noticed the boost is only going to 8 psi where as i did have it set for 10psi with a turboXS bleed valve.

My question is do these valves need re adjusting over time or could i have a leak somewhere or worse a seal blown? Whats the best way to check for a leak. I would not want to adjust the bleedvalve and have the turbo over working if i did have a leak.

Usually they dont need to be adjusted unless its gone from winter to summer or vice versa. I'd probably check for a leak!

bleed valves will do that in my exp thats why i got an electronic one, a couple of times i saw mine up to 19psi...........friggin freaked me

you will find it changes through the year ,like the guy said summer to winter etc (cold to hot air basically,humidity etc etc) so 4 months means you most likely set in quiet different evironment than you are driving in now.

Mine has never moved off 11psi, ever. Expect first few hard goes in really cold weather, then it hit 12.

But I guess it could have rusted/tanished up a bit???
