Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to put an ecu into diagnostic mode that doesn't seem to have a selector switch. It's a little wierd... It says G9 on the label and there doesn't seem to be an LED or Selector switch.... I think it is in Diagnosotic mode which is why it backfires a little on decelleration and runs like crap on boost....

is it an rb25 ecu? im guessing it is by your name, then if so it done by the consult connector. you can user a consult to serial plug and hook it up to a pc/laptop. the selector and lights diag is only on the rb30 ecus as far as i know (possibly some older ones too). the consult plug is on the right hand side of the steering wheel underneath the plastic shroud stuff. however if youve put an rb25 in your vl then it could be anywhere. the pinout diagram for the rb25 shows where the consult connector is what pins they are
