I'm new here and i know that i will get replies telling me to search for the answers to my questions.....I already have and its because there is no clear data on wheel offsets out there for these cars that i must ask again.

Car is 1992 R32 RB20DET.

I just purchased some TSW Thruxtons (18x8 front 35 offset with 245-40/18, 18x9.5 Rear 20 offset w 265/35/18 tires)

The rear wheels stick out from the fender about 3/4 inch. It does not look good!

The fronts are about even but they could go under a bit more i think. (I have not installed my TEIN lowering springs yet).

I've sold em withing an hour of putting them on to a guy with a Supra.

Now i want to replace them but WHAT is the correct offset for these cars????

I read 40 somewhere, and a host of other stuff...

I placed the front wheels onto the back...remember 18x8 inch, 35 offset with 245/40 18's. Now I realize i made a mistake with the tires and should have got 35's for the front like i did in back but even with the narrower wheel/tires in back it still was not looking right and stuck out too much.

Any advise for the next purchase?
