Windscreen seals...

I just took a look at my car today and noticed the windscreen seals are peeling back on both sides

I took a photo to show what i mean... don't mention the fact my car needs a wash

I haven't noticed water leaking into the car yet, but i figure it's prolly not a good idea to leave it as is. Should i get it fixed? And if so where can i get it done?

Is it bad enough to warrant new seals yet though? It's not like i want to wait till it's a serious problem, but if it's not a big deal yet i won't bother. Thanks for the recommendation though!

Hard to say without seeing them in the flesh/rubber,LOL! Terry will be able to tell you within seconds of seeing it the best way to attack the prob'.

pfft their is nothing wrong with it mine are doing the same thing i am going to get something to glue them back in later when i can be bothered its been like it since i got it and i have not noticed any problems with leakage at all

Mine looks pretty much the same on the drivers side but I haven't had any problems either.

Mines coming out too and it doesn't appear to be leaking either - yet. On an S14 200SX

Ditto above... I had a little bit peeling out.

Just got some silicone, just ran my finger along the rubber to put a thin coat on, and pushed it back in. Havn't seen it since.

Go with silicon. This trim is prob just a finisher anyway.

mine was doing the same thing, so i threw it away, lol.

it looked feral and i didnt want it so i chucked it in the bin, it looks better without anything there and i've never had a problem with any kind of water getting in, in over 8months or so.

Guy at aussie windscreens in phillip did a good job on my rear seal. he reefed my original, shrunk and ****ed seal and replaced the whole thing. nice guy. reasonable price.

thats a front seal thats on the plastic scuttle panel...that panel comes off quite easy....take it off and drop a couple of drops on loctite stupid glue on it...if you need to stretch it out while glueing it
