Identify Hks Turbos

I just imported a gtr that has hks turbos but dont know if they are 2510 , 30 or 40s

does anyone know how i can identify them please?

i can see the HKS letters on the compressor housing.

If you can see the core they should have a small tag there saying what they are.You might have to take the heat sheilds off.

i take it they are 2530s

are all 2530s the same?

are they ball bearing?

at what rpm are you hitting full boost? Got to ask as I am going to be checking my HKS turbos this weekend, I hit full boost of 1.2 bar at about 5000rpm, which I think is a little high, so I am thinking that they are 2535 or 40's..

my car hasnt been tuned yet and was chipped in japan and i have to admit its pretty laggy at the momet. i would say that 5 grand is about when full boost occurs. i am hoping that some adjustable cam gears and power fc will bring it down to around 4 grand.

5000rpm is a bit high, i got the same turbo's on my gtr n it hits full boost at around 4000rpm its got cams, adjustable cam gears, 700cc injectors, Trust drag intercooler, full twin 3inch, link engine management, apexi AVC-R n i can run up to 20psi...so the cam gears might make it a little less laggy but a good tuner helps alot, the hard part is finding one

yeah im hoping the cams will help. ill get croyden racing developments to tune the power fc. they know what they are doing and have built some mad cars over the years. they are not cheap but there's nothing they dont know about a GTR.
