Personally for intank pumps I reckon you can't go past the jap bolt ins. ie. Nismo, Sard, Tomei etc. They actually do bolt straight in and are not too loud, plus they are reliable and have well documented flow ratings not some abitrary horsepower rating. only downside is they cost a lot more. probably best to get one from the usual on-line people like nengun or greenline.

Whats the best upgrade for a GTR fuel pump?

Where and how much?

Not a noisy 044...

Do the 044 upgrade PROPERLY and there isn't any noise.

PS; do a search, this is one of THE most popular questions. This is a good thread to start off with, maybe you don't even NEED a pump upgrade.

people who whinge about a nosiy 044 or 984, SHOULD BLOODY INSTALL THEM PROPERLY!!!!!!!

Used and installed about 10 044 and never had one thats been any nosier than stock!!!!

Wow, I am not the only one! I thought I must have been some sort of genius at quiet 044 installs. At least I know there is 2 of us.

you must be after big power yes? to need the upgrade , cos if you run decent size injectors and leave the pressure alone the std gtr pump will surport quiet a bit of rwhp (my std pump and filter 700cc injectors and Apexi fc 529.4rwhp 20psi) with no signs of it having a problem holding a very stable 11.9 to 12 a/f ratio

just from my experience
