two40
Hey Prank, The timezones are a bit screwed up. It looks like it's 9 hours back. I don't know if this is a stuff up on my end but in my profile the timezone is set to the Sydney one so you might want to check this out. Also, can you explain to me step by step how to upload my avatar. I'm having a bit of a problem getting that done. It's on my local drive. Cheers. PranK
Ok, there seems to be an issue with the timezones, if you set your profile timezone to 15hrs behind your actual timezone, it will work. ie, my timezone is +10 for sydney and I just set it to -5 and all the times are now correct. As for the avatar uploading, I am still working on that. Christian Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/7-timezones/#findComment-107 Share on other sites
two40
Prank, don't you have to set the timezone to GMT 0 in admin and then when a member sets their GMT it will display the correct time. I could be wrong but it might be worth a try. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/7-timezones/#findComment-108 Share on other sites

two40
Yeah, no luck. I assumed that you have to set it to GMT 0 and when a new member joins and selects their timezone it will adjust the time accordingly. U WERE MINE
yeah when i change my settings in profiles it changes the time of posts.. however in the config area in the admin section it doesnt affect it at all..?? hmm i wonder if u have to close the forums for a while to change the date there.. or maybe even the date of where the board is held affects it.. but i doubt that .. arghh this is bugging me Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/7-timezones/#findComment-118 Share on other sites
