Hey Blukie - did you figure this out.  I have standard ECU but getting a cut about the same boost level...

Benl,

this behaviour is normal for the standard computer. The standard computer knows that once 10 PSI is achieved to "cut" the ignition to save the turbo from failure. Because I now have a PFC, mt understanding is that you cut "override" this feature, I just don't know how. Otherwise you can buy what is know as a "fuel cut defender".,

get it re-tune... my tuner set a boost cut on my computer just to save the life of my turbo.. my car is set to 10psi-- at my current setup..that's all i need,..he will tune it up again once i get my new turbo and other stuff.

so yeah..just tell your tuner to allow higher boost.

Hi, just got myself a PFC and my car seems to still cut out when boost exceeds 10 PSI. I thought this "Fuel cutout" was non existent with Power FC's. Is there a particular map I must go to and "correct" this ???????

What car is this?

Power FC's have no excessive airflow protection.

They have no rich and retard programming like the standard ecu.

Get it tuned:cheers:
