i have a stock rb25det dyno graph. 141rwkw when it was dead stock. peak power is about 5900 and it drops off after there. let me post it up

i have a 172rwkw dyno graph from ice performance with power fc tune will post up later tonight the peak power moved around a bit but still fairly similar.

no probs, will post up the 172 graph so u can see if its the same power area, im pretty sure its moved down to about 4500 ish after zorst, cooler, 0.80bar and powerfc

How are you working out where peak power is?

isnt that the logic way? look at the dyno graph the max power value is 172 and you can see it by using a ruler? i dont see how thats hard? im lost ... ?

How are you determining the rpm at peak power?

4500 is simply too low for an RB25.

Not by comparing km/h figures I hope.

hehe thats cool. ok the graph i have at home from memory the stock one was about 6000 ish that was in km/h at 141rwkw. since mods i *think* the peak power "flat spot area" has moved down a bit towards 5000/4500 ish, maybe its too low like you said, im going off the top of my head. will post the graph tonight so you can see. the peak power comes in and it stays at that level for a bit then drops off. will post the graph after club meeting

from the second graph it looks like i have more peak power a bit earlier. by more peak power i mean within 5~ rwkw of my max power of 172. So from 130km/h onto 170km/h i have around 165rwkw. here's what i mean

4,000rpm - 121km/h

4,500rpm - 136km/h

5,000rpm - 151km/h

5,500rpm - 166km/h

6,000rpm - 181km/h

6,500rpm - 196km/h

7,000rpm - 212km/h

7,500rpm - 227km/h

Max out from the rsm after dyno run (so its about 11km/h off the caluations)

i dont have an exact "what rpm is 130 to 170km/h" range is so its hard to work out. i recall sydneykid showing a chart on how to calculate it, will try and find it and post up what i find

what brand and size rubber are you running on your rears?

I'd say without a doubt you are still up around the 6000-6500rpm peak power mark.

shows a rpm vs km/h for a gtr (should be in 4th with same diff ratio?)

my avg of around 165ish looks to be around 5000 to 6200. its a bit of an "if" and "um " and "arrr". would anyone be able to give exact figures based on diff ration in 4th
