Need quick answer

Hi guys,

I went and looked like what I thought was an rb25 turbo...but it's not ceramic??

I haven't got a clue what this is,

I wrote down what I could off the turbo, it had 45V4, 9238 and 2IU engraved on it. Also nissan,

If someone could get to me on this soon that would be greatly appreciated.

He has another buyer and wants an answer today.

My R34 GTT has the stamp B and then OP6

did you check that the EXHAUST wheel was steel? otherwise it may just be a stocker.

He doesnt know what engine he has, he just knows its an rb25.. so its' kinda hard to find out what this is,

sounds like a stock unit then. did you use a magnet on the exhaust wheel?

used it on the blades, it didnt attract it, it pushed it away...

if it was a decent magnet, then if would have been attracted to the blades and snapped onto them.

Please note that it is only the exhaust wheel that is ceramic. The compressor wheel is either metal (unsure whether steel or Aluminium) or nylon depending on which series of RB25 it came from.

isn't 750 a bit rich for a stock 2nd hand rb25 turbo?? I've seen ones advertised on here for about 300??

Magnet will not stick to it even if its not ceramic .

They are not steel they are some type of alloy so magnet will not attract it .

yeah seems real expensive.. saw a brand new S15 turbo for sale... never used for $1000 ono.. PM me if interested will give u links!
