I'm thinking of some more minor tweaks for my GTR (as always). I'm looking at the price diff between injectors sizes. I was keen on the HKS 550cc

BUT

Nengun has SARD 800cc Twin Hole injectors at what looks like a very good price (cheaper than HKS)

- anyone running with these

- what diff does the twin hole make

- can someone compare HKS with SARD

- will my PFC understand these

1st I've never heard of them. I know that power Enterprise does the twin pithle injectors (800cc from memory)

I'd say no - if they are new from Sard

- what diff does the twin hole make

the idea is to get the fuel to squirt around the valve stem / guide using, rather than straight into it. Have not seen / heard any feedback. try the UK guys.

From what I haev seen they are booth good, Sard are good value for money

if you adjust the correction values (mentioned in a thread here somewhere...)

i would assume that the extra hole is to overcome lumpy idle ?

an 800cc spray pattern would be pretty narrow, and you'd get less atomisation and so it'll be more lumpy lower down the rev range, adding the second hole gets you two 400cc holes, which is closer to a stock spray pattern ...

however, this is just my idea, and could well be wrong ...

hks v sard - either, i'd have no probs using either

and yeah, you just tell the pfc the correct values in injector setup ... nothing too complicated, you'd need a tune post install tho ..

cheers
