Actual trye size on r33 gtst skylines

Hey guys, i was just wondeirng what tyres did a ecr33 come out with from factory. i have 225 50 16's on mine, and i think its the actual size, i have never found actual evidence pointing at this. the rims are the standard r33 16x6.5" rims.

I think there should be a specifications page on here somewhere for all the skylines from r30 - 31 up to the new skyline ...

mine had 205/50/16 all round, but i think they came out with 55 series

For 16 x 6.5 size rims (the standard Skyline/Fto's etc)

best with 205/55/16 (which i have on my stockies) fits perfectly straight sidewall.

it can also fit 225/50/16 BUT it tyre looks like its squashed in if you know what i mean, (they were the tyres that came with the car).

Car seems to handle better overall with the 205's compared to the 225's but thats my opinion might be different for others.

thats really strange, cause im sure the tyre size plates on the car specify 225/50/16, will have to check again, speedo just seems to be out a little too much just from plain wear from the tyres ... wanting to know so when i organise my new rims what rolling diameter to get

They used both 205x55x16 and 225x50x16

i had 205x55x16 but am now moving to 225x50x16 in an attempt for some slightly improved tracitong, might have to increase wheel size though get some 17's or 18's
