Yeah i think i will push it a little latter on, 1.3-1.4 should be achievable i would have thought....if i only run it down the quater etc.

it has forggies (arais), ACL race bearings, cometic metal HG 1.6mm, 750cc's, but only shot peened rods(weak link), all fully balanced etc.

Provided you have a sound tune it will easily cope with 1.4bar - the std rods are very good provided you keep the revs under 8250rpm. I have a similar set-up to yours but with cams & 2530s, it handles 357rwkw @ 1.4bar on 98ron fine. Mind you I only picked up an additional 3rwhp going from 1.2 to 1.4bar - cam timing was adjusted for peak torque not peak power.

hey slapper, nice, what headwork and what cams are you running?

you have stock rods and pistons?

my GTR thats on the way has 2530s and am after comparitive stats.

I was aiming for 300kw at 4 wheels on 1.2bar.

as long as you have no sneaky tricks :( looks like that should be easily achievable.

thanks

Michael

Michael - Ported head, inlet & exhaust manifolds match-ported, HKS 264 inlet cam with 9.6mm lift & 272/9.6mm on exhaust. Pistons are forged Wiseco, rods are standard with ARP bolts & ARP head stud kit, Tomei cam wheels & Tomei gasket kit with 1.2mm head gasket. Mine's in a GTST hence can't give you a 4wd power figure.

sorry for taking this thread OT, so in theory the only thing stopping you from having a revver of an rb26 is rods?

9500rpm is fine with aftermarket rods?
