heya.

chucked on a stealthfx bov last night cause i simply wanted a change.

my concern is when its fully plumback it drives totally normally but when switched to atmo i get a slight hesitation/sticky feeling when upshifting, it just feels a little bit different.

and no theres no stalling issues at idle or coming to idle, or excessive richness.

that will happen....its normal

when you vent to atmosphere, all that registered air is lost....the ECU reads it and dumps fuel in, but then gets no air, and also, when all that pressurised air is lost, it takes a few micro seconds to build up again, as it loses its momentum. its not there on hand to get forced in on throttle as its been dumped out.

cheers

...

No, the ECU does not 'read' the lost air - the ECU actually does not register the lost air volume, and continues to inject the amount of fuel from the A/F mapping that correlates to the volume of initial air that was read by the hot wire at the AFM. As a result the mixtures run rich.

:P
