hey guys..

I have an S15 with Apexi Pod filter and heat sheilds and am getting a full exhaust system- front and dump pipes included obviosuly..

I was wondering if i need to tune my car or will the ecu adjust automatcially after i get my exhaust put on?

I've been ringing around and asking the same questions and have got varied responses.. N1 told me that no tuning is required, just bolt it on and drive off a the ecu will adjust.. another workshop told me as soon as u start asking for more power u need to tune the car..

I dont want to increase boost at all, but will the stock boost restrictor hold the extra 1 or 2 psi after the exhaust is put on?? or will i need a boost controller? i dont want my car spiking or anything.

I was considering to get an SAFC.. I dont want a POWER FC, although they are the best on the market, but in the future i wont be upgrading my turbo, or putting in bigger injectors etc so i think powerfc is abit much with the power figure i have in mind (abt 160rwkw).. however few ppl have told me SAFC is not worth it.. is this true?!? what should i do!!

One more question, if i rum abt 10psi with my exhaust on, do i need to upgrade my cooler to a front mount?? or will the stock cooler be sufficient enough in the long term??

thanks ALOT guys =)

Rob

I dont know much about the SR motors so i dont know if you will notice more or less of an increase but all i can say is that SAFCs are definetly not useless.

In regards to the cooler i think that your standard one should do the job ok.

Hope that helps
