Boost on R34 GT-t

Hi ppl,

I have a question regarding low boost on my R34 Gt-t. I am not sure whats the standard boost on the R34, but currently I think I am sitting on 3~4 bar of boost.

Would like to know how I can adjust or increase the boost on the car. My car is stock with only a HKS Pod fitted only.

3 to 4 bar?...thats crazy ...u mean 0.3 to 0.4

well stock boost is 7psi... should be around 0.48

get a boost controller...look at the thread about the jaycar IEBC, worth looking at for that price

Also, I'd suggest doing at least a cat back if not a full exhaust before you up the boost.

R34 has the standard solenoid as does the R33 right?

yeah...sorry typed it wrong. Like you said it should be 3~4psi instead of bar...oops

still I was told is quite low in stock.

I was told by a technician that the stock boost controller on the car can be adjusted to alter that boost. Is that correct?

Don't mean to steal your topic but you might find it interesting anyway, I guess it's down the lines of what you're asking.....

I hear with R33s if you block off a vaccum hose it's meant to give you more boost, is this the case with the Neo engine as well?

3-4 psi is a bit low.. it should around 7.. u may have a leak somewhere mate.. get ur car checked out asap before u start running really lean...
