Hi all,

Can anybody tell me how to disarm the immobiliser without the controller? I had a little problem with washing my car and accidently wet the controller now it wont disarm. Can anybody help me out? The alarm is a CAM 3 point immobilser. I would take it somewhere but I cant drive the car, still immobilsed.

Cheers

yeah look for the alarm brain, depending on who installed it, it may be hard or easy to find, start with under the steering column, when u find the brain open it up(few screws etc) and your should she 1 or 2 pairs of obviously thicker looking wires, cut and join these together and there you go, may sound hard but once you locate the thicker wires its no problem.

or...

find the fuse for the immobiliser (if there is one), pull it out, put it back in

it might work, it might not

or...

disengage the battery from the car (ie pull one lead off), and try to disarm the immobliser, connect the battery again and then try disengage it again

or...

just do what slidewaysrb25det said, and then get another immobiliser thingabob
