GTR radiator to gtst?

Hey was looking at upgrading the radiator on my r32. i want to get a koyo 53mm aluminium one. They only make them for GTR's, does anyone know if these will fit to a gtst? will they just bolt up or lot of modiification...

i have no clue so would appreciate any info thanks

R32 GTR and GTS-T rads are the same, so yes it will bolt straight in.

What's a KOYO radiator worth? Wouldn't it be cheaper going local eg PWR?

Hey Roy, didn't you have issues with underbonnet temps at one stage? How did you sort them out?

Yeh water temps of 320 deg Cand 820deg C under bonnet temps can easily be fixed with a $19 fire extinguisher...cheaper then one of those fancy radiators...meh what a waste of money:rolleyes:

what about some bonnet vents instead? i mean the ones that just divert air out of the engine bay (rather than a scoop) to maximise the flow of the standard radiator?

is 53mm to big for street use

as in is there anything wrong with getting too cool

becuase i notice on some nights (early morninish) my water temps are only just over 70degrees

no such thing as a too radiator being too big as long as it fits. Its the thermostat that controls the minimum temp in the engine, so maybe you need a new one.....

All silly talk a side. Grab a tape measure. I think you will have troubel fittign such a thick radiator in the std position because of the power steering. Typically a 40mm seems to be an easier and equally effective fix ....and then there is always the $19 fire extinguisher:)

A race radiators option is only $600 or so, and is a ready fit, buy off the shelf item.

Thanks mate, I spoke to him and he said that the 40mm is a bolt in solution with existing fan and shroud (for a 32 anyway) and the 57mm requires electric thermos and removal of shroud... didn't mention anything abour p/s pump...

I think Ben runs a 40mm in his 33R, so if it works for him in his 500kW beast a 40mm should be ok for my low power jobbie

We run a PWR 40mm with a single Davies Craig 16" fan, it handles 420+rwkw on the circuit. We do have a big, ducted oil cooler as well.

yea ive seen it bu the koyo ones are bigger and polished ant not too much more thats why i was asking

i want a twin core alu that way will never have to upgrade and hopefully shouldnt ever have any problems........ cough

The 40mm PWR is twin core and polish is cheap.
