FAQ: Can I use PVC pipe for intercooler piping

in my humble opinion you should probably go pvc as a cheap TEMPORARY option, i have reasons to go pvc piping (though i won't)

pvc would hold heat a lot more than steel, particularly stainless steel, in lamens terms, steel conducts high tempertatures through itself very well, which is why the piping gets so very hot under driving conditions, this means the steel is passing the heat thru

pvc is not a conductor of heat, it is an insulator of heat. therefore the heat does not escape, and puts hot air back into the engine, so wouldn't this completely and utterly render the fmic useless? not to mention the heat from the cops you would have,

but on the topic of the conduction of heat and steel's superiority over PVC to conduct heat...

...wouldn't that mean the copper piping would be the wisest choice? copper is the best conductor of heat next to gold, and it's very cheap material to use!
