****Drift on TV - PLEASE READ *****

Hi all,

On Sunday 24 April at 1pm, there will be a special edition of the channel 10's Trackside featuring the Full Lock Drift Nationals! Please have a look (or tape it if you are going to be at the drags), it wont dissappoint.

Please support this sport, have a look, and give channel 10 a call to ask for more - even if you arent into drifting yourself, get behind this motorsport for your fellow SAU members that are .

This will be a huge help in getting the sport of drift off the ground, and the only way media coverage will continue.

Just watched it..... some nice drifting in there and certainly some nice local cars...... hoping to see alot more like this in the future

Sweet action! On a "mainstream" channel and coverage was a lot better than the last drift event on sbs i think it was.

Thought it wouldnt be as exciting to watch as jap drifting, now im thinking about taking the trip over east to watch the next semi's

Her32, I was at the Sydney round last year, and it was well worth going. The local guys arent bad at all, but the jap D1 demo, words just cannot describe the crazy speeds and how close these guys drive - video just doesnt do its justice

Oh, and the sbs coverage of the malalla event should be better than the last one. They are doing the full pro series thing and will have similar commercial type coverage - so I am told.

Keep an eye out for it on May 1, 12 non, SBS

(EDIT: more coverage = more sponsor $$$ = more drift comps australia wide. The Drift Australia round is talking of coming to WA in 2006, would be nice if we had a decent following/local series going before then )
