How is the American dollar doing? If you have some sort of expectation of going fast , being as fast or faster then some of the japanese, then just buy this...

What budget are you tossing around, have a class in mind? I would say go RB30, and sequential 6 speed box. Some of the OZ drag boys will be able to offer comment on which sequential 6 speed box is strongest, but i think i would be looking at a Hollinger myself.

The OS Giken 3.0L bottom end seems to be the more popular way of going about the 3.0L bottom end, a friend us using the Nissan RB30 bottom end as the basis for his crazy engine, and he has put a lot of research into it...so basically, most ppl on the forum would be telling you a bunch of thinking...nor facts from experience.

I suggest you speak toa few places that know, and in Oz the places that have some experience with serious GTRs are.

I could come up with what i think is a pretty tatsy shopping list of parts you would need to throw in an R32 or R33 GTR, but getting the whole package to dance will be where you either succeed or struggle.

i have a dance plan in mind. but i am not the type to not listen to others. i have friends like that and they tend to learn the hard way.

so if you have any suggestions or past experience, i am open ears.

dont think of me as an american i was born in Nuka'alofa, Tonga and didnt move here until i was 17.
