Start up splutters...GTR

Since the rebuild, when I start the car it doesn't want to rev....after about 2 minutes if I hold my foot staedy at where say 4500rpm would be it will splutter at 2500 then all of a sudden come good and not do it again until next time its cold.

What that all about.

Almost feels like spark or fuel but only when cold????

Mine does that when its cold, but I dont think its good to give the car much untill it warms up. I wait for at least 5 mins or more and its fine to boost it. But hey im just a newbie

How many more threads do we need about your rebuilt engine woes ricknismo? isnt 4 enough?

Sorry...but they are different issues..2 similar I think.One running, ones starting, ones asking about a fuel regulator....does this make me a post whore???

I found the problem...Yeah.

The standard boost solenoid has a T that goes to the plenum on the same line as the actuators...This won't work with an aftermarket boost controller and stuffs around with the sensors I guess. I ran a new vacuum line dedicated to the actators and it all good now.

sounds to me like amanifold leak that clear up when it get to operationg temp

Well Essentially I guess it was via the T that wasn't supposed to be there
