Knocking Noise in R33 Steering Wheel

Hey Guys,

Just Wanna see if anyone knows wat could be going on im my steering wheel.

I have 95 R33 and my steering wheel the one with the Airbag.

It has this Weird KNOCKING/CLICKING noise in behind the airbag area of teh stering wheel, when u do a 1/4 lock or more, and when u straighten up sort of clicks again.

If anyone got idea wat is or and talk on if it is safe to attempt removal of wheel, then let us know.

There was also a writeup on how one of these guys did it, but I can't remember where it is....maybe this will help?
