Torn Seat - Blueslip

Will a slightly torn drivers seat pass a blueslip? Or if I patch it up will that allow it to pass? It's a bride seat that came with the car and it'd seem a waste to get rid of it just because it has 2 tiny tears that are about 5cm long.

seatcovers should sort that problem out. Or worst case have it re-trimmed. They look reall good with black velour. (keep the "bride" marked centre section of course)

Mine passed no problem I had 2 rips on it too in the same place. I think all brides get them there

The engineer laughed when I asked him about it he said pfft sif no such ADR. The blue slip guys didn't even mention it.

If you're worried just use some tape.. I think there's fabric tape out there.
