Wat is the best way to do a quick launch on a r33 gts-t.

I dump the clutch on 3000-4000 and it is wheel spin city!

The best I can do is rev to about 2300-2500 and put the clutch half way and then rev it to 3000-3500 and full engage it and it is quite good not much wheel spin.

Any suggestions?

Getting a quick launch has more to do with having decent tyres then anything else me thinks...traction is most important.

But, since you're asking, I personally find that launching around 3000 rpm and then gradually 'feathering' the clutch out usually works best for me. Mind you, I only have a set of fairly crappy tyres on the car at the moment...

Each racer does it differently. basically you want to launch with the highest possible RPM while avoiding more than 10% wheelspin. You start somewhere (say 5000 RPM) and vary it by 250 RPM increments, examining your 60' time to see what works best.

There is no reason your car wont 1.75 sixty, but as already mentioned your wasting your time trying on any lesser tyre than MT street radials. If your slipping the clutch, your not getting 100% drive therefore your times will be slower. 5500-6000 on MTs, if it turns them, come down 500.
