a standard r33 skyline that being a series one runs a standard boost of 7 pounds correct?

Ive heard other people through the forums quote different figures. And i was wondering how they arrived at these figures when it is stated on the standard boost gauge -7, and +7

am i wrong?

I thought it was 8psi till it hits 4800 RPM then the boost solenoid opens it to 10psi...

doesnt the factory boost gauge measure bar not psi???

4-5psi LOW BOOST

7psi HIGH BOOST

It's a variable system using a solenoid control after a certain RPM.

The stocker boost gauge measures in x100mm/g or something like that. halfway up on the positive side indicates 7psi boost btw

and get a boost gauge before you do ANYTHING!

The factory boost guage doesnt measure in PSI. Hence the reason why it never hits the +7 when boosting.

The factory boost level on an R33 is about 7psi. You get about 5 psi at 2,800 and another 2psi over 5,000rpm.
